Your playbook for rigorous,
AI-smart teaching.
Education Wasn't Built for the AI Era — Yet
Students can now generate polished essays, solve problem sets, and complete projects with AI in minutes. If our assignments haven't changed, we're grading AI output, not student learning.
AI detection tools aren't enough.
These detectors produce false positives, miss sophisticated use, and create an adversarial dynamic with students. You can't detect your way out of a design problem.
I work with faculty to design assessments that still measure student learning — even when AI is in the room.
I'm Ashley Evans, and I work with universities and faculty teams to redesign assignments, assessments, and curricula so that student thinking stays at the center, even when AI is in the room.

What Educators Are Saying
A sampling of feedback from recent workshops and conference sessions.
BEST WORKSHOP EVER! Full of real-world examples and actionable content. Finally. This was a game-changer for this paradigm shift we're in. I am completely redesigning my online class and will adjust the AI inclusive assignments in my on-campus classes.
Honestly, this has been the absolute most helpful AI-related workshop I have yet to attend. It wasn't overwhelming (so many of them try to pack so much into the presentation) and it had such practical advice that I'm going to be able to immediately implement some of these into courses that start in two days.
This is one of the first talks I have gone to about AI that provides concrete examples for how we can actually USE AI to enhance learning, not how to prohibit its use or catch students in the act to penalize them. It offered a simple, generalizable framework and many creative examples of how to use it.
EVANS gave a very pragmatic training on AI - Resistant assignments! This session over delivered as I am walking away with some concrete ideas to implement into my own classes. Excellent, simply excellent content and delivery!
It was a flawless presentation. I would recommend all faculty at my university take this seminar.
This is a great way to learn how to create assignments incorporating AI and also having the students reflect on it and do work with the product that AI produces.
Thank YOU Ashley. You were fantastic. Your knowledge and expertise gave us all a lot to think about.
This was very informative. I left with thoughts on how to start implementing these strategies immediately.
